Name: Caballo Negro (Black Horse)

Obtained: 2005, Des Moines, Iowa - United States

Though it is actually made in the US, this is the first and only energy drink I've found that is marketed solely to Hispanics (I picked it up in a Mexican grocery store). The taste was similar to Red Bull, but a tad different. If Red Bull tastes like Sweet Tarts, then I would have to say that this drink tasted like Spree. This drink also included the strangest ingredient I've found outside of Asia - Uña de Gato: Cat's claw extract. Yuck! Is that legal? I really have no interest in drinking cat. Decent kick however. 3/5 Genkis.

Association:
Cats! The Musical

Uña de Gato (cat’s claw)is well-known in South America and is a tonic herb (Uncaria tomentosa).Uncaria tomentosa is used in nootropic drugs, as well as in anti-cancer and anti-AIDS medicines. It contains several alkaloids that are responsible for its overall medical effect. Uncaria tomentosa is not made from actual feline claws.

Well, I'm not sure whether to be excited or disappointed, but either way, that's good to know. Thanks whatisdis!
