I’m not sure why, but something about these new Hanson’s Energade cans just makes me think of Baseball. Maybe it’s the tallboy can, maybe the wanna-be-historic looking labeling, I’m not sure. This was of similar quality to the Orange energade, with a slightly more sour/bitter flavor, but this time I realized that it tastes almost exactly like the famous Japanese sports drink Pocari Sweat! For some reason though, I still didn’t really like this stuff (whereas I drank Pocari all the time in Japan). To boot, while it gave me a slight jittery boost, it did nothing to hydrate me (1 hour later I sit here with a dry mouth), and gives me no reason to want to buy it again. 2/5 Genkis
